For your hassle-free family kayaking adventure, look no further than Surfside Kayak Hire! They are located on Combe Martin Bay Beach and just a short walk from Combe Martin Beach Holiday Park. The kayak tours start with a one hour mini tour, great for beginners and families; on the two hour scenic tour you can explore the coastline of Combe Martin. Or you can book a bespoke tour which tailor to your group’s abilities and requirements, you might even want to try your hand at wild swimming, snorkelling or cave exploring, the options are endless. If you don’t fancy a group tour you can also hire kayaks and stand up paddleboards.

Combe Martin Wildlife & Dinosaur Park
Set in 28 acres of spectacular gardens, Combe Martin Wildlife Park is a unique day out for all of the family. You can experience life sized dinosaurs, get up close with some amazing animals, enjoy daily animal talks, go wild in the gigantic soft play area and much more!

This family attraction overlooks the stunning Watermouth Cove, offering a unique and magical experience for all the family. Children of all ages can enjoy the exciting rides, you can explore the beautiful gardens, get lost in the maze, visit the gnomes and head down to the dungeons. The attraction has undergone huge improvements and now features an exciting adventure playground, Hobbledown, where kids can run free through the trees, bounce on the water pillow, speed down the slides and play bakery and potion making at the different play stations.
South West Coastal Path - The Hangman Hills
The South West Coastal Path offers 630 miles of stunning coastal walks with breathtaking scenery, amazing wildlife and wonderful heritage along the way. We are extremely lucky here at Combe Martin Beach, as we have direct access to the South West Coast Path from our Devon holiday park. Hangman Hills is one of the SWCP’s more challenging walks, which starts at Kiln Car Park in Combe Martin. With far-reaching views over coast and hills, and an abundance of nature, this walk is sure to inspire you.

Home to the Exmoor Beast, Exmoor Zoological Park has over 170 species of wildlife and is set in 12 acres of land, with roaming peacocks and wildfowl. Enjoy a bite to eat at the indoor cafe or bring a packed lunch and relax in the picnic area. If you are looking to do something extra special, Exmoor Zoo offers animal experiences days, where you can get up close and personal with some amazing animals.

Lynton & Lynmouth Cliff Railway
The multi-award winning and famous Lynton and Lynmouth Cliff Railway opened in 1890and is the highest and the steepest totally water powered railway in the world! You can enjoy a ride on the train on the cliff railway; explore the selection of wonderful shops and sample a variety of locally produced Exmoor food and drink. The Cliff Railway connects the twin towns of Lynton and Lynmouth providing stunning coastal views of North Devon that will be the highlight of any visit.

Newberry Beach
Opposite the entrance to Combe Martin Beach Holiday Park is a small pebble beach great for rock pooling, swimming and is dog friendly.
